Wrexham Women will take part in a three-game preseason series on the West Coast of the United States this summer as a part of their ‘Wrex Coast Tour’, the club announced on Tuesday.
It will be Wrexham Women’s first time playing in the U.S. and their three-game series will see them face SoCal FC on July 19 at the UCLA Drake Stadium in Los Angeles, Tigres Femenil under-19 on July 21 at the same venue and then Portland Thorns Academy five days later in Portland.

“Having heard the stories around the Men’s tour last season, it is great that the Women’s team will have the same opportunity. The time it will provide us to prepare for the upcoming league campaign will be vital in our quest to improve on our third position,” Wrexham Women manager Steve Dale said in a statement on Tuesday.
Wrexham Women, who were reformed in 2018, were promoted to the top tier of Welsh women’s football in 2023 and hold the record of being the first semi-professional women’s football team in Wales.
As a part of the ‘Wrex Coast Tour’, the men’s side will play preseason friendlies against Bournemouth, Vancouver Whitecaps and Chelsea.
